ThickFit isn't just another activewear brand. It's a home for thick, curvy and plus-size women who love to move, love to look good and have waited far too long for active and athleisure wear made with them in mind. From your toughest training session to your busiest Saturday, ThickFit is made to go wherever you go.
Born in Cape Town, South Africa, ThickFit was created with one mission: to make sure that thick, curvy and plus-size women are never forgotten again. For years, these women have been left out of fitness and fashion alike. They were missing from the size charts, missing from the campaigns and missing from the conversation. ThickFit exists to change that, one perfectly fitted piece at a time.
Our Mission
Our mission is simple, and it guides everything we do: to give thick, curvy and plus-size women active and athleisure wear that truly fits, truly supports and truly celebrates their shape, and a community where they finally belong.
We believe no woman should have to "size up" in a brand that doesn't make her size. No woman should have to tug at leggings that roll down mid-squat, or hold her chest through a run because her sports bra wasn't built for her. And no woman should have to choose between feeling comfortable and feeling stylish, or ever feel like the gym, the coffee shop or the weekend market isn't meant for her.
You were never the problem. The clothes were. Our mission is to fix that.
What Our Name Means
The name "ThickFit" is more than a label. It's a statement.
"Thick" describes a woman with a full, curvy figure, with fuller hips, thighs and curves that she carries with confidence. It's a compliment and a body type to be celebrated, yet it's one the activewear world has rarely designed for. We're proud to put it front and centre. "Fit" speaks to two things at once: the strength and energy of a woman who lives with intention, in the gym and out of it, and the perfect fit she deserves from everything she wears. Together, the name says what we stand for. Thick women deserve clothes that fit, whether they're training, travelling or simply living life.
